to those who have told us 'you shall not wear white after labour day' i now say 'ha HA! i will and you can't stop me!' (to which they will reply 'it is a rule of practicality, really. no one will see you in the wintersnow, and you will be struck down by a streetcar.' to which i will say 'touché. i will, then, only wear - and eat - caramel through all the winter months. thankyou.')
